Instead of Black Friday, we're gonna do Give Back Friday. From now until December 1st, every single cent of your album and merch purchases are going to be donated to Mercy Corps to buy stoves for families in the Congo, which saves lives and protects women and children in one of the most desperate humanitarian crises on Earth. Each stove costs $25. Let's get 10 of them.
Each person who buys $10 or more worth of merch will receive a handwritten thank you card from me. Buy your Bodi/Alexipharmic/Elephant Memories gear here: Bodi Store. For more information on the stoves and the difference they make, go to http://www.mercycorps.org/gift/cookstove. How can I afford to do this? I can't, but it's worth it. Please spread the word. Thank you for your support! peace.love.respect., Bodi

My Grandma, Zetta (born Zetta Zane Zilla), died a little over a month ago. Among other endeavors in a very full life, she raised 6 kids really well (including my mom), and taught me valuable lessons in perseverance and being an authentic human being. She also taught me how to swear and gamble. I made this song in testament to her. I'm making it available to you in hopes of bringing some comfort in the midst of loss. It's the toughest part of life that we all experience.
This song is part of an upcoming EP. Thank you for all of your support. I hope you enjoy. Thank you for the memories, Grandma. peace.love.respect., alex (bodi) |
